Back to art

Its been ages since the last time I draw, and I'm do unsure if I have still the talent of art. My little brother asked me to do his project (forming world map, using tissue paper and then colored it up). Oh yes I did it, took 9 days for me to finish it. Had hard time to made the tissue dry as it form at the top of acetate. My younger sister help me out to do the lettering's, I have a bad penmanship. Here is the finish product.. I hope its really look like the world map.

Duo Birthday Bash!

Baby Andie (my 1st god daughter and daughter of my best friend Arian) and I celebrated yesterday our both same day birthday.. July 28.

Anyways.. I came to church early in the morning, being thankful for this life. As I stepped out the door's church I saw ten pesos coin, lucky me!.

Went over to Arian's house after lunch to celebrate my goddaughter's birthday. Loads of kids, food and games. So great watching the little one's party, feel like want to be a kid again.. hehe.

At night we do karaoke, got some wines and beers with couple of friends to celebrate my birthday too. Too bad I'm allergic to alcohol beverages.

Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA), The First Step

April 24, 2009 ended the first U-11 league organized by NOFA headed by Mr. Carlos O. Cojuangco. The last two matches were played in the venue of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College - Talisay City.

With the presence of many fans that encourage the four participating teams in this first league, the team of CHMSC Talisay was proclaimed champion, with his young promising player Keith Ploteña as the MVP of the competition.

The main goal of this league are the development of two rounds of games (home/away), the implementation of the Green Card during games (fair Play Award) and Blue Cards 5 minutes punishing the offender and his team. No red card and yellow card were used in this league. However, the "star" of the competition was the rule that coaches is obliged to give to their players at least 15 minutes continuously.

The Referees of NOFA quickly understood the aims of the league and its future projection, and they collaborated in ensuring the success of the league.

The league has reaffirmed the need to give the children of Negros Occidental an avenue for a sustained football competition under NOFA's competitive framework and master-plan.
